Plumbing & Heating Engineer
We are currently seeking an experienced plumbing and heating engineer to join our professional & friendly team, carrying out a vast range of plumbing and heating tasks. Focused mainly on installation of boilers, hot water cylinders, air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, 1st, 2nd fix plumbing and heating etc. From a small lodge, country manor or care home, Willowserve provides installations, maintenance and repairs across the industry.
The option to be involved in other aspects of servicing, repairs and maintenance in the plumbing and heating industry along with helping on the building works side can be offered if of interest but is not mandatory.

All installation jobs surveyed and quoted by experienced plumbing and heating engineers.
The successful candidate will be experienced in a variety of installations of 1st and 2nd fix plumbing / heating. From hot water and heating upgrades, gas and oil boiler changes, underfloor heating, installing air source heat pump systems through to general plumbing. Gas appliances and domestic plumbing & heating systems. You will be carrying out installation in privately-owned houses, high-end properties, offices, schools and care homes. Ensuring work is completed to a high standard is a must. You will require in date Gas safe, G3 Unvented, and / or Oftec qualifications. Full UK driving licence. Minimum NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and heating Qualification, NVQ level 3 preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Plumbing: 5 years (required)
- Experience working as an installation engineer is essential
- Experience with wiring both S and Y plan systems would also be desirable but not essential
- Previous experience using job reporting software on a smart phone / tablet desirable, although training will be provided
- Commercial qualification and experience would be desirable but not essential to the job role
- LPG experience is preferred but not mandatory. A good knowledge of plumbing & heating system design and wiring is essential

Bathroom Fitter
You will become part of a dedicated hardworking team to transform tired bathrooms and wet rooms into the customers dream.
The ideal candidate will be competent in all aspects of plumbing work, be able to tile and install shower wall panelling and conduct general maintenance tasks including basic carpentry to a high standard.
The ideal candidate would desirably have experience in wet room installation and disabled bathroom adaptations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bathroom Fitting: 5 years (required)
- Plumbing: 5 years (required)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plumbing preferred as main trade, but others considered depending on experience
- Installation of full bathroom upgrades and wet room conversions
- Experienced in installation of wet wall panelling / shower boarding
- Ability to tile floor and walls to a high standard
- Good understanding of suitable products including tanking kits, self-levelling levelling compounds, anti-fracture matting and adhesives etc.
- Making good in bathrooms
- Basic electrical knowledge (Spotlights, running in cables for second fix by electrician)
- Efficient communication with management and clients – keeping client and management updated at end of every day
- Final sign off and walk through with customers
- Clean, tidy and respectful of client’s properties at all times
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient project completion
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep up to date with industry developments
REQUIREMENTS:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, City & guilds or equivalent qualification
- Qualifications or time served experience in tiling
- Basic electrical experience and plastering preferred but not essential
- Must be able to demonstrate previous bathroom projects done to a high standard
- 4+yrs experience in plumbing and bathroom fitting
- Technical skills in plumbing and associated trades
- Ability to work with plans and drawings
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of the general building and construction industry
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving license
- DBS Check
